Las Vegas Cannabis Dispensary Tops Lyft’s Most Popular Destinations List


"For better or worse, 2017 is on the way out. From top albums to the best memes, the internet is working hard to quantify the past 12 months in a series of quick bullet points. Joining in on the fun, rideshare app Lyft released their annual “Lyfties,” recognizing the country’s most popular app-driven attractions — including one Las Vegas cannabis dispensary given the title of Sin City’s hottest “trending destination.”

Reef Dispensaries, with locations on both the north and south side of the Las Vegas strip, joins landmarks like San Francisco’s Museum of Modern Art and Los Angeles’ Grand Central Market as one of the country’s top ride requests.

You may remember Reef as the location of Nevada’s first official recreational cannabis sale back in July of this year, where Senator Tick Segerblom kicked off what has been an unprecedentedly successful six months of Nevada pot sales.

Reef is in rare company at the top of the Lyftie list, joining most visited restaurant In-N-Out and most visited bar TopGolf as the cream of Sin City’s crop.

And while some companies may have backed away from giving a cannabis company one of their highly touted internet awards, Lyft has never shied away from America’s green rush. The ridesharing company has partnered with the Colorado Department of Transportation for the last two years to provide free or discounted rides to Centennial State cannabis users looking to avoid driving high."...
